First and Emergency Aid Basic Skills Laboratory
The First and Emergency Aid Basic Skills Laboratory, established within the scope of the associate degree program at Burdur Vocational School of Health Services, is equipped to enable our students to gain practical competence in life-saving interventions and emergency management. The laboratory is supported with up-to-date emergency intervention equipment and simulation tools, providing students with a training environment close to real life.
This laboratory is designed as an area where first and emergency aid techniques are applied one-on-one, and theoretical knowledge is reinforced with practical experience. Among the main competencies we aim to impart to our students are basic life support, trauma management, and the ability to intervene quickly and accurately in emergencies.
Our laboratory aims to develop the manual skills necessary for our students to respond professionally and quickly to emergencies they may encounter in the field and to prepare them as well-equipped health professionals for the industry.
In this context, we offer a strong foundation for the professional development of students participating in our First and Emergency Aid program, aiming for them to graduate as well-equipped individuals who will make a difference in emergency health services.
